Sierra Madre Kiwanis Celebrates 90 Years of Community Service.

A couple of monumental achievements in 1927 were the first transatlantic telephone call, Roxy Theater opened, Academy Awards is founded, Charles Lindberg’s flight across the Atlantic, television was first viewed, CBS was formed, The Jazz Singer and Show Boat opens, Murderer’s Row win the World Series, Ford introduces the Model A, and the Sierra Madre Kiwanis founded.This year, 2017, the Sierra Madre Kiwanis celebrates 90 years.

One of the first Kiwanis clubs, Sierra Madre Kiwanis established in 1927. Blue Skies, by Irving Berlin was written and preformed in 1927. This year the Sierra Madre Kiwanis Celebrates 90 years of existence. We hope you enjoy our little celebration this year.
